The urgency is well-founded: Samsung is expected to report an 18-fold profit jump to a record $56B this quarter on AI memory demand, while SK Hynix, up 273% this year, is launching a $28B Nasdaq listing to fund the expansion. 3. Nvidia unveils program to get more GPUs into AI startups' hands: The chipmaker has launched a partnership initiative connecting fast-growing AI startups with its network of cloud providers, giving them access to critical computing infrastructure without buying chips outright. Two Australian firms are first in line: Sharon AI will deploy 40,000 Nvidia GPUs, while Firmus Technologies is building a data center in Indonesia.
